The skillet with lid from Mahlzeit is ideal for frying, braising, cooking, and preparing meat, fish, vegetables, and many other dishes. The cast iron pan features excellent heat conduction and distributes heat evenly across the food.
Season the pan again before its first use to maintain the polish and non-stick effect. Use sufficient vegetable oil during the first few uses to further strengthen the patina.
The high-rimmed pan features a long handle and two spouts, which allow for easy portioning and pouring without spilling. Made of cast iron, the pan is heat-resistant and therefore perfectly suitable for use in the oven, on the stove, and on the grill.
With its generous diameter, the steak pan with glass lid offers plenty of room for ample amounts of food. The heavy weight of the pan ensures stability. Thanks to the finely polished surface, the cast iron pan is also extremely scratch-resistant.
The polish also extends to the base of the cast iron frying pan, making it ideal for electric and induction stoves in addition to glass-ceramic cooktops. There is a practical hole in the pan's handle, which allows the pan to be conveniently hung up in the kitchen.
